Patient Testimonials
How do I start thanking you for this past year in which I got to know you as a person, a physician, a surgeon, a concerned human being, a friend? I came to you with my dental concerns and expectations, I somehow challenged you with my estrange reactions to everything, you called it "pedigree" and always with a smile you continued surprising me with the options. We shared music, books, stories, and most of all, don't matter what turn things took, you re assured me that I'll be delivered the promised smile I interrupted your week ends, some evenings and saw you countless unscheduled visits, your presence and emotional support was, far above and beyond the scope of medicine, your professionalism, your kindness, your humor and empathy is a rare find. Again THANK YOU, and my thanks to your stuff of professionals that complement your dynamic practice so well. Your forever smiling groupie.
It is difficult to find the words to express my gratitude and appreciation for the dental work that you have recently completed for me. It would not be an exaggeration to say that you have dramatically improved the quality of my life. Like so many other people, I postponed for many years the dental work that I knew I needed. The unfortunate experiences of many family members and friends with dentures was something that I did not want to repeat. I learned to make the best of my deteriorating condition for fear that a full set of dentures would bring undue discomfort and embarrassment to me. The day that I walked into your office everything changed While experiencing a healthy done of apprehension about the procedure, I somehow knew that thin was the answer I was looking for. You did not disappoint me! It has been a pleasure being cared for by you and your staff. I can not thank you enough for the work that you completed and the services that your staff provided. Most of all I thank you for your generosity and caring. I shall not stop talking about my experience with this procedure for a long time and I will certainly inform my friends and acquaintances of your work. Thank you again.
I have been right where you sit this very moment. In the offices of one Dr. Hoos and one Dr. Zitnay anxious, nauseous and just plain scared to death. I have stayed awake with the impending doom of a dental visit. All my sleepless nights and shots of Mylanta proved to be a waste of precious time, energy and antacids. I have been a patient of the famous and infamous Drs. Hoos and Zitnay for many years. I have had extensive and I mean EXTENSIVE dental work done in the office you now wait in. With all the self torment that you are currently undergoing let me put your minds at ease. I, as I stated earlier, am a dental patient at professional status and I count my blessings at every visit for the kindness and gentle manner of our two fine doctors. Dr. Hoos put 18 crowns on my upper and lower front teeth several years ago. After several hours in his chair I started to cry not from pain just exhaustion and he dried my tears with gauze. Then we laughed at how dumb I felt crying in the dentist's chair WITHOUT pain. I now have beautiful teeth and a new use for gauze. Dr. Zitnay performed the dreaded root canal. Never having had one and having heard people prefer giving birth and passing kidney stones I was a bit apprehensive. After Dr. Zitnay coaxed me off the ceiling and numbed me up, I announced I was ready. I could now handle it and lets get it over with. I was already done. As you can see I have caused myself undo stress and a few moments of embarrassment in the office that you sit in right this moment. I am fortunate and grateful to have such warm and skilled dentist. I thank them every time I smile. E. F.
I writing to express my sincere thanks for the gracious, courteous and professional care and service that I have received, both from the doctors and your entire staff. I know this letter has seen a long time in the coming, The reason I think is somewhat understandable once one looks at my dental history. Since an accident as a youngster approximately 40 years ago and in conjunction with some poor dental habits I have had the need f6r continual dental work. Over this period of time I have had at least 13 different dentists. Early on in my dental care the dentist I had was very conscientious and professional , but after moving I found myself in a constant search for a reliable office such as yours. Now after many months of dental work and as we are just about to be finished, I agree that the information I was given by you, even if it was not what I wanted to hear, has always been thorough and accurate. A recent happening also prompted me to write this letter. The first time my niece saw me without a mustache she said "Uncle Bob, without the mustache I can see how straight and great your teeth are. Did you have braces when you were young?" I replied "No! but I finally found a good dentist who did a great job with caps and implants." Once again I want to express my gratitude and thanks to you and everyone at your office for making what could have been an unpleasant experience turn out to be pleasant and one which exceeded my expectations. Sincerely,
This is just a short note to tell you that I really appreciate the time that you gave to me on 5/31/91. 1 never expected that some one would be able to correct the rocking of the plate in my mouth. I was prepared to go through life with this minor discomfort believing that I was an unusual case and that is how life is. But now that it is fixed, it is a relief. You may be interested to know that three other doctors did not know how to correct the problem. So I thank you for the kind service. Sincerely yours,
I just wanted to say thanks for your tenderness and compassion during my little ordeal. You put me at such ease that I never felt before at any Dentist office. Maybe you'll be able to undo all my fears that have been there needlessly all these years. Thanks again
Thank you for giving me back my smile. You calmed my fears and made me feel comfortable with what I was about to go through. You took the times to explain things which I appreciated greatly. I was truly afraid of "The Dentist" but your kind, compassionate and caring way helped me through this. You're everything Gail said you were and more. As my dentist, you will come highly recommended. And I must say, your staff from the front office on down are wonderful! They too helped me overcome my fears. They never hesitated to answer my questions (and I had many) or make me feel comfortable. You have a great office and my thanks goes out to each & everyone of you for making this experience a good one. I will smile always
I just wanted to send a quick note of Thanks to you and your wonderful staff for being so GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO! I never thought a trip to the Dentist could actually be "painless"... I only wish I had come to you sooner in life, with less crowns in need! (although I should be wearing a crown--ha ha). I am very confident that my teeth will look 100% better when you are done fixing many years of "old technology and silver fillings". I anticipate smiling much more then too, as I won't have any ugly, gray fillings to share with everyone at that time. Your skills, and great personality, are truly appreciated. Have a wonderful day...
I need to say thank you in so many ways. Your caring and attention you have given me are above and beyond anything neither my family nor I have ever experienced. You came in on a Saturday - your off time - when I ran into trouble. I am grateful to you for your dedication to your profession. I am so lucky to have been in your care. And all of the above without a bill -- this I can't understand. Thank you -- Thank you! Very sincerely
I write this note of thanks to you with sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the prompt and courteous care you provided to me on February 23rd. Thank you for your compassion in regards to my needs. While I am by no means a stranger to reconstructive dental work (as you well know), your calm, reassuring manner & professionalism helped allay any fears & trepidations I might have had. Thank you again for everything you've done for me. I consider myself quite fortunate to have found such a wonderful dentist & friend. Sincerely,
My sincerest thanks to all of you for such a pleasurable experience on Wednesday. You all made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. A special thanks to Dr. Zitnay for her gentleness and professionalism. Sincerely,
It was about a year ago that I got the best phone call of my life. You called and asked if I wanted to talk to you about having implants done. When we had our meeting you were so sure that this procedure would be right for me that you gave me the confidence to have it done. Talking to my friends & family about this was kind of hard for me, being somewhat vain I didn't want people to know that I had false teeth. Of course, I should have realized that they knew since I couldn't eat everything. The worst of having a plate was the persistent sores in my mouth & getting food under my plate. Well, now that's all in the past. Since August 23rd I can eat anything & I'm telling everyone that I have implants. It feels & looks like my own teeth. I can't thank you enough for the marvelous job you did, your patience & understanding will never be forgotten. I would recommend this procedure to anyone. Your grateful patient & friend
I've been coming to you for 14 yrs. I have been extremely happy with everything that I have had done. The staff is awesome. The service is great! I also wanted to let you know that the Hygienist I saw today was one of the most friendly people I've met. She was extremely nice and informative. I've never felt more relaxed having my teeth cleaned. Once again thank you! S. W.
I'm still overwhelmed by your kindness. Seeing me on such short notice, treating me for the short term, refusing compensation and being so refreshingly human in your approach -- all that bore into my soul and made a lasting mark. Thank you and also say thanks to your colleague Dr. Hoos for his caring and attention. Be blessed
Nick and I want to express our appreciation to you for your help and concern during Peter's recent accident. Your kindness and gentle manner (and at times your natural sense of humor) was a great reassurance to both Peter and I during a scary time. A big thank you to supporting players Nora, Gail and Joanne, and all the other concerned staff. You all are great -- Thank You!! Fondly,
I'm writing to let you know that you and your staff are the nicest and most caring medical office I've ever been to. From the first big smile at the front desk to the great compassion you give your patients in the dental chair, and the jokes you crack, too. Thank you for making going to the dentist a pleasure. Sincerely,
I had heard about the style, quality, and beauty of your work on behalf of your patients. But it was not until Sunday past that I could, on my own, become a singer of your praises. Even though, in your hands, I felt absolutely no pain, I must resort to Job's words in order to convey the wonder of my experience being your patient: "I had indeed heard of You," Job says to God at 42:5, "But now my eye has seen." Your focus, humor, adroitness (sic!), speed, all combine to make it (unbelievable as it sounds) a true pleasure to sit with mouth open and be treated by you. And this on Sunday night at 9:30 p.m.! The presence of yet another patient in need at that same hour served to confirm that my experience was unexceptional, just the Hoos way of doing the work. You have turned your practice into an avodah, a form of worship. Fortunate indeed are those you treat; I feel honored to be among them. Really. With warm good wishes. in friendship J. E. P.
I have owed you a "Thank You" for a long time; and your ancillary personell deserve it also. It is not easy to make a dental procedure pleasant, but you have made it so, even fun. For your skills and your warmth, I am indebted. E. B.
