In December 2010, Dr. Hoos was once again chosen as one of Dentistry Today's leaders in continuing education!
Dr. Hoos is a highly respected, world renowned dental practitioner. He has invented many successful techniques to improve the quality of life for his patients.
Dr. Hoos graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a DMD degree after receiving his MS degree in Biology from the University of Bridgeport and his BA degree in Zoology from Drew University. Dr. Hoos is a Fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In recognition of his clinical excellence, Dr Hoos has earned a prestigious Branemark certification to surgically place and restore dental implants. Dr Hoos has been honored by the Society of Dental and Facial Esthetics and received the Block Drug Award for teaching hygiene to the developmentally disabled.
Dr. Hoos lectures to dentists and their staffs nationwide, teaching his advanced techniques along with other procedures, both clinical and practical, that he has developed over twenty-five years of private practice. Dr Hoos was chosen to be a mentor for Nobel Biocare to teach general dentists to place and restore implants. Doctors from the US and overseas come to the office to learn his methods. Dr Hoos enjoys fishing and gardening, and relaxing with his wife, Betsy and three wonderful daughters.
